It’s no secret that I love making no bake slices. They are just so easy to make and taste lovely. This time, I have decided to try a no bake caramilk slice with the Cadbury Caramilk Chocolate.

No Bake Caramilk Slice

No bake slices as easy to prepare and are ready in just a few hours. They can be cut to whatever size you like and enjoyed for morning or afternoon tea with a cuppa. I have made quite a few varieties over the years, these include:

No Bake Caramilk Slice

With only a six ingredients, this no bake caramilk slice is easy to make, delicious and is ready to eat in just a couple of hours.

Ingredients

Base

  • 250 g packet of plain biscuits, such as milk arrowroot or milk coffee
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 180g block Cadbury Caramilk Chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 395 g condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping

  • 180g block Cadbury Caramilk Chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

Base

  • Line a slice baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
  • Crush the biscuits to a fine crumb in either a food processor or in a bag bashed with a rolling pin.
  • Place the biscuits and the coconut into a large bowl.
  • In a large saucepan, slowly melt the chocolate, the butter and the condensed milk.
  • Stir often, making sure the ingredients blend together properly.
  • Add the vanilla and mix well.
  • Carefully add this mixtuer to the biscuit crumbs and mix thoroughly.
  • Press into prepared tray and flatten with the back of a spoon.
  • Place into the fridge to set while making the topping.

Topping

  • Place the chocolate and coconut oil in a microwaveable bowl or jug.
  • Heat for short bursts, around 20-30 seconds in the microwave until melted and smooth.
  • Gently pour over the top of the base and refrigerate for about four hours until set.
  • Remove from fridge, let it sit for about 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
