Eucalyptus Peppermint Sugar Scrub

Eucalyptus Mint Sugar Scrub

Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliation, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

For this sugar scrub recipe I used sweet almond oil, though you could also use coconut oil or jojoba oil instead. The ‘clear’ oils are best as they leave the sugar nice and white, especially if you are not going to add any colour to it.

The essential oils in this sugar scrub combine well together. Eucalyptus oil is cooling and energising with antibiotic properties. It is also good for joints and circulation. Peppermint essential oil is uplifting in nature and can improve depressive symptoms. It helps with mental fatigue, fights exhaustion and is highly effective at reducing stress. Peppermint essential oil encourages a positive outlook.

Just be careful using eucalyptus and peppermint oils around children and pregnant women, making sure to do your research before using.

To make this Scrub, you will need:

  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup sweet almond oil carrier oil
  • 20 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 15 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • â…› teaspoon Golden green mica powder (optional)
