This luxurious Grapefruit Sugar Scrub is so easy to make with only 3 ingredients! This simple home-spa treatment will nourish your skin and give it a smooth-looking glow.
Grapefruit essential oil has a sweet, invigorating aroma that is also considered a natural stress-fighter as well as being anti-immflammorty. It is commonly used to fight throat and respiratory issues as well as fatigue and muscle aches.
To make this simple scrub, you will need only three ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 5 drops of Grapefruit Essential oil
- A glass jar to store your sugar scrub
To create your own Grapefruit Sugar Scrub, first
- Melt the coconut oil in a microwavable glass jug until completely melted.
- Then, stir in the white sugar.
- Finally, add the Grapefruit Essential Oil and mix well before adding to your glass storage jar.
It’s sweet aroma will encourage feelings of joy!
I prefer to use this in the morning, as Grapefruit is a good ‘wake up’ scent.
Depending on where you live, the coconut oil may solidify a bit or may stay quite runny. If it solidifies, it will soften again in your warm hands.
To use, massage gently in a circular motion over your body while in the bath or shower to help remove dead skin cells, boost circulation and moisturize skin.
