This candy cane paint is such a great fun activity for kids.
They love being outside and getting dirty and this was no exception.
The paint was easy to make:
Just add some shaving cream to a bowl,
then add a few drops of peppermint essence,
followed by a few drops of red food colouring,
then swirl.
They started off painting with a paint brush, but
soon realised that it was more fun to use their hands.
They ended up with the stuff everywhere.
I wish I had a photo of this,
but I was too busy trying to stop them from touching everything.
The paint looked cool and smelt really nice.
R wasn’t to impressed with the smell as he doesn’t like anything minty/
But B didn’t care. He just wanted to get messy.
