To learn more about Reindeer, I created this Reindeer Lapbook. It is a great hands-on activity for children to learn about reindeer and their life cycle.
Check out the list of materials that we use with these printables.
Reindeer Lapbook
This reindeer lapbook is a great way for children who love a hands-on approach to learning, learn about these creatures and their life cycle.
There are a variety of ‘books and flaps’ for children to complete as they learn about reindeer. Books or access to the internet will need to be provided for some of the activities. A folder such as these file folders or a notebook is needed to create a lapbook.
In this lapbook, they will learn about:
- Migration
- Herbivore
- Hooves
- Threats
- Predators
- Diet
- Classification
- Where they live
- Life Cycle
- Parts of a Reindeer
- Antlers
- Vision
There are some reading pages that will help children to complete the lapbook, though extra books or access to the Internet will help them learn more indepth and learn so much more.
Instructions as well as many photos to follow are included in the pack.
Also included is a fun flip book. All pages in this are blank for children to complete as they wish. They could cut and paste extra pages of the writing for the lapbook and use them or they could write in the information themselves. Children could also use the extra photos that come with the lapbook to add to this flip book as well.
