1920s Research Flip Book

Check out the list of materials that we use with these printables.

1920s Research Flip Book

The early 1920s were a great time for people, though the decade did not end will with the fall of the Stockmarket on Black Tuesday, which led to the Great Depression. With this research flip book, children will learn more about 6 amazing people who made an everlasting impression during this time.

Learn about Amelia Earhart, the sixteenth woman to get her pilot’s licence. She was the first woman to fly in an airplane across the Atlantic Ocean, though she wasn’t the pilot on that trip. When trying to be the first woman to fly around the world, Amelia and her navigator, Fred Noonan, got as far as New Guinea, but disappeared and were never seen again. Those kids who love music will love learning more about Louis Armstrong who became a very influential jazz musician. Or, for those who love learning about cars, they will enjoy reading and learning more about Henry Ford, who made the first affordable car – the Ford Model T car – as well as invented the first assembly line in factories to help decrease the amount of time it took to produce these cars.

The people they will learn about are:

  • Amelia Earhart
  • Babe Ruth
  • Charles Lindbergh
  • Henry Ford
  • Langston Hughes
  • Louis Armstrong

1920s Research Flip Book

In this flip book, you will receive one page of information about each of the six people as well as the flip book. This information page can be used to complete the flip book, though it would be good for children to do their own research. For each person, children will complete the following facts:

  • Birth
  • Death
  • Early Life
  • Achievements
  • My Thoughts

Can I just say how amazing you are???!!! I work full time and my mom helps to homeschool my son. We don’t have a ton of money and I don’t have lots of time to create things like this. I cannot express to you how appreciative I am to have people like you in the world that help out people like me and my son with things like this. Thank you. That would don’t say how much I appreciate it but I really do.
