Martin Luther King Jr was born on the 15th January 1929. During his lifetime, he held many positions including an American Baptist minister, activist, humanitarian and was a leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is known as being one of the most important voices in the American Civil Rights movement and was assassinated on the 4th April, 1968.
