The Story of Dr. Temple Grandin, written by Julia Finley Mosca, is a lovely story about the amazing Girl who Thought in pictures. When young, Temple was diagnosed with autism and no one expected her to talk, definitely not expecting her to become a powerful voice of modern science. The mind of this special and unique lady allowed her to connect with animals, which led to her inventing improvements for farms around the world. Children can learn more about this lady when reading The Story of Dr. Temple Grandin and then look at how special and unique they are with these great I am Unique printables.

Thank you so much for the unit on Dr. Temple Grandin. Our son, adopted as an infant and now 12 years old, has as one of his myriad diagnoses autism. Reading about Dr. Grandin, hearing her lectures, watching her movie, and reading her writings has helped me to help our son. Now, he can read about her and know her himself. Excellent!! He is NOT alone!
