The Last Supper Story
The story about The Last Supper can be found in some of the Gospels – Matthew 26:20-29; Mark 14:17-25; Luke 22:14-20.
In this story, Jesus and his disciples had made their way to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover.
The table had been prepared and Jesus and His disciples sat down to enjoy this important meal. It was the last meal that Jesus shared with His disciples before He was arrested.
During the evening, Jesus told them about one of them that was going to betray Him.
He then went on to share bread and wine with His disciples. This bread and wine point to the body and the blood of Christ that were about to be sacrificed on the cross for our salvation.
