The story of David and Goliath is a great example of faith and courage. Found in 1 Samuel 17, it tells of how a small boy, David, places his fate in the Lord’s hands and goes on to defeat the giant.

Being a young boy at the time, David arrived at the camp to visit his brothers. While there, he heard the giant, Goliath, shouting his daily defiance. He also saw the fear that this injected into the men of Israel. So, what did David do? He volunteered to fight the giant. After persuading King Saul to let me to do, David, with headed off toward the giant with his sling shot in his hand and a pouch full of stones. On approaching the giant, David was greeted by insults and threats. After letting the giant know that he was there in the name of the Lord Almighty, David placed a stone in his sling shot and hurled it at Goliath. The giant fell to the ground, his army fleeing.

I found your work when I bought the Moore park school bundle from TN.
    You create FANTASTIC packs.
I teach prep in Brisbane and used your circus pack as early finishers workbook in Term 2. I have never seen my preppies work so fast, they LOVE using your products.
I LOVE how you use the Qld fonts and Australian spelling 🙂 🙂 🙂
I have followed your blog and your FB page.
BTW on p 16 of this pack there is a typo: rooster instead of sheep.

These are great. I am going to use them for my sunday school class on the mission field here in Ireland and also for my youngest son’s homeschool. Thank You! I did notice just glancing at it, that in the totstopreppack pdf download, page 79 calls the sheep a hen.

Thank you! Im curious why you chose to put 6 stones instead of 5 that the Bible teaches 1 Sam. 17:40 Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag,

I agree with you Anonymous, but as I can’t draw, I purchase all my clip art and religious clip art is hard to find. Also it is copyrighted so I can not alter it in any way. I got our boys to choose the five smoothest stones and cross out the other one. Thanks for your reply!
