God performed many miracles when He was bringing the Israelites out of Egypt into the Promised Land. In this Joshua and the Battle of Jericho printable pack, children will learn about how God gave the city of Jericho into the hands of Joshua and the Israelites.

Joshua lead the Israelites in one of the most astounding miracles in the Bible. This proved that God stood with the Israelites. After the death of Moses, Joshua, the son of Nun, was chosen to be the new leader of the Israelites and they set about to conquer the land of Canaan with God’s guidance.
They sent spies into Jericho. These spies were hidden by Rahab. Her house was built into the wall of the city, and when the time was right, she helped them escape out a window and down a rope. She had faith in the Lord and was saved when Jericho was destroyed.
The armed men of Israel, and the priests carrying the ark walked around the city once a day for six days. On the seventh day, they walked around seven times, then the priests blew their trumpets, the men gave a loud shout and the walls of Jericho fell down. They were told by God that every living thing, except Rahab and her family, were to be destroyed. All the articles of silver, gold, bronze and iron were to go into the treasury for the Lord.

Does this Joshua and the walls of Jericho come with a printable book to read? We love using these in our Wednesday night childrens classes ! I dont see the Joshua book like the other stories have.
Some of the first packs do not come with a printable book, though I am looking at updating them and including them in the near future.
