To make this cute squid paper craft, you will need:

Coloured craft papers – one colour for each squid in two shades, pink and white
Black Sharpie
Craft glue
Pencil
Scissors
Squid Paper Craft Pattern

Squid Paper Craft Instructions

Select 2 different shades of the same coloured craft paper as well as pink and white.

Trace the small round shapes on the pink paper and cut out the eye patterns directly from the template (or you can draw them using a sharpie).

Trace the body base (head and tentacles) and the fin patterns on a darker coloured craft paper. On a lighter coloured craft paper, trace the mantle pattern. Carefully, cut out the traced patterns.

First, glue the mantle cutout onto the bottom side of the fin cutout, by overlapping the fin halfway through the bottom end.

Next, glue the body base below the mantle pattern, keeping the mantle pattern to the front side of the craft.

Now it is time to glue the eye cutouts near the top end of the head part (right below the mantle). You can draw eyes on round white paper cutouts or use the ones from the provided template.

Lastly, glue the blush cutouts (round pink cutouts) on both cheeks and use a sharpie to draw the mouth of the squid.
