In Australia, we often hear about sharks coming close to beaches and even attacking people. To help our boys learn more about these amazing, though deadly creatures, I created this awesome Shark Unit that contains information for ten of the most popular sharks.
This study contains over 40 pages. There is a reading page about each of the ten species of sharks, followed by two question pages where the student will write their answers. The answers can be found in the first reading page, or they could do their own research and find the answers themselves.
The last few pages include a little shark book that the students can create themselves, drawing pictures of each of the sharks and a few fun facts, then attaching together to make a small, portable book.

I just did up a review for a book called “shark week” it was a great book, I’m keeping it as a resource to use at a later time (perhaps to make a unit study or two). 🙂

This looks like a lot of fun. I am saving it for this coming school year.
