 A fun way to work on learning the letters of the alphabet and letter recognition is with these fun Spring Themed Alphabet Worksheets.

Spring Themed Alphabet Worksheets

This printable pack contains one spring themed worksheet for each letter of the alphabet. Each page contains an object that relates to spring, that begins with the letter of the alphabet that they will be working on. There are a variety of activities included on this page.

• Colour the kite – At the top of the page, there is a black and white image of a kite that contains the letter of the alphabet they will be working.
• Trace It – Here there is one row for the uppercase letter and one row for the lowercase letter. Children can practice tracing these letters.
• Rainbow It – There is an uppercase and a lowercase letter of the alphabet which children can colour it with multiple colours.
• Circle It – Find all the uppercase and lowercase letters and circle them.
• Trace the Paths – Trace the uppercase and lowercase letter at the start of the row, then trace the line, followed by the uppercase and lowercase letter at the end of the line.
• Rainbow the Picture – Colour in the picture that begins with the letter
• Cut and Paste – Cut out all the letters at the bottom of the page and place them in the correct squares.

 

Ways to Use

• Print out all worksheets and have your child complete them. Once completed, they could laminate them and hold them together with a binder ring in the top left hand corner.
• Print out all worksheets, laminate them and have your child use a dry erase marker to trace all the letters and words. Cut out all the letters and laminate. Have children place the letters in the correct spot.
• Print out all worksheets and have your child colour in the pictures with colouring pencils or crayons. Then laminating and holding them together with a binder ring in the top left hand corner for children to use a dry-erase marker to complete the rest of the activities over and over again. Instead of cutting and pasting, they can practice writing the letters in the squares.
