Spring Parts of Speech Cards

These Spring Parts of Speech Cards are a great way to introduce children to nouns, verbs and adjectives.

Materials Needed:

• white paper and printer
• scissors
• laminator

Spring is a great time of the year. Flowers are starting to bloom, baby animals are coming into the world and the weather is starting to warm up.

In this 38-page printable pack, you will find three sets of cards:

1. Vocabulary Cards (not pictured) – These cards are great for spelling, enriching younger kids vocabulary, matching/memory games and more.
2. Clip Cards (top picture) – These cards can be used by placing a peg, paperclip, lolly or pom pom on the correct answer. To find the correct answer, read the word and look at the picture.
3. Matching Cards (bottom picture) – Place the three main cards – noun, verb and adjective, at the top of your desk or work area. Then, collect the rest of the matching cards, read the word, look at the picture and place the card under the correct heading card.
