These ABC Bible Verse Cards are great for memorising verses of the Bible as a family.
Materials Needed
- white paper
- printer
- laminator
- scissors
- binder ring
After printing out our copy of these Bible verse cards, I laminated them and them punched a hole in the top left hand corner of each card. I keep them together with a binder ring.
These cards contain many well-known verses that will help and encourage all in their daily walk with Christ. They are all in the King James Version. Some of verses included are:
- John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- Galatians 6:5 – For every man shall bear his own burden.
- Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
- Mark 14:38 – Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
- John 14:6 – Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We use these cards as a family, spending one week on each letter of the alphabet. After reading the verse in a few different versions of the Bible, we discuss the meaning and ways that we can apply it to our lives.
Each day we start to memorise more and more of the verse until we have learnt it completely.
