These Spring Fraction Cards are great for introducing kids to simple fractions.

Materials Needed:

  • white paper and printer
  • scissors
  • laminator

Learning fractions can be difficult, but with these visual fraction cards, children will be able to see the written fraction as well the parts of a fraction within the spring flowers.

For multiple use, I recommend laminating these cards as it will keep them strong. Once laminated, they can also be drawn on with a dry-erase marker if needed.

These Spring Flower Fraction Cards can be used as math manipulative in your math centres:

  • Use them to learn simple fractions by matching the flower to the correct fraction.
  • Use them in memory / matching games.
  • Use them to help with learning equivalent fractions.
