Making Whipped Body Cream
To make this amazing whipped body cream, first chop the shea butter and the cocoa butter up into small pieces.
Add the two butters to a large bowl or stand mixer.
Using the wire whip attachment, whip on high for around one minute, then decrease the speed to low and whipping for four more minutes.
Carefully pour in the coconut oil and the sweet almond oil.
Whip the mixture on high for around one minute, before decreasing the speed to low and whipping for another four minutes.
Place the bowl in the fridge for one hour, or until the mixture has practically solidified.
Remove from the fridge and carefully add the essential oils.
Whip the mixture on low speed until the oils are mixed through, then increase the speed and whip on high for five minutes. The mixture should now be light and fluffy.
Spoon the mixture into 4 oz glass jars with lids.
To use, scoop a generous amount of cream out of the jar and apply to your body.
Store the jar in a cool place, as it will melt if it gets too hot. It should last around three months.
If needed, you can try to re-fluff the body cream by whipping it back up to the desired consistency.
