Bee Lapbook

Bees are important to our lives. They fertilise the flowers so that we are able to grow fruits and vegetables to eat as well as make honey for us to enjoy. Learn more about bees and their life cycle with this fun and exciting Bee Lapbook. It is a great hands-on activity for children to learn about this insect who starts life as an egg, ending up as a small, flying insect who collects pollen.

Bee Lapbook

This Bee Lapbook is a great way for children who love a hands-on approach to learning, learn about bees.

There are a variety of ‘books and flaps’ for children to complete as they learn about Bees. Books or access to the internet will need to be provided for some of the activities. A folder such as these file folders or a notebook is needed to create a lapbook.

Together, we decided to make some bee cupcakes using a plain butter cake mix for the cupcakes and then decorating the tops with jellybeans and licorice and white icing spread on the licorice as well as dots for the eyes.
