As part of learning about Constellations, our boys wanted a ‘book’ that they could carry with them. I made this constellation book, but instead of stapling the sides together, we punched a hole in the top left hand corner of each page and attached them together with a ring.
Materials Needed
- star stickers
- dry erase marker
This constellation book can be used in a multitude of ways.
- once laminated, use a dry erase marker to trace the shapes of the constellations to help learn the different shapes
- as reference cards while looking for the constellations in the sky
- to create your own ‘constellations’ by punching out the stars and shining a light on the page
- add star stickers in the same position on a page of paper and then drawing the lines to copy/recreate the constellations
