Vowels
Vowels are found in all words in the English language. They are different from consonants due to the way they are said. When saying a vowel, you actually breathe out, keeping your mouth open.
Though when saying a consonant, not only does your mouth more differently, your lips also touch.
The letter “y” is a bit of an odd one. Sometimes it acts as a vowel, and at other times, it acts as a consonant.
