Oceania Research Flip Books

In this pack, you will receive two Flip Books. The first flip book contains the fourteen countries that can be found in Oceania:

• New Zealand
• Fiji
• Papua New Guinea
• Samoa
• Tonga
• Vanuatu
• Kiribati
• Marshall Islands
• Micronesia
• Nauru
• Solomon Islands
• Tuvalu
• Palau

For each country, children will research and write the:

• Population
• Capital
• Languages
• Currency
• Land Area
• Religions
• Flag Facts
• Landmarks
• Interesting Facts

There is also a spot for children to draw in the flag or a map of the country.

The second flip book contains the nine territories and dependencies located in the Oceania:

• Cook Islands
• French Polynesia
• Guam
• New Caledonia
• Niue
• American Samoa
• Northern Mariana Islands
• Tokelau
• Wallis and Futuna
• Interesting Facts

There is a spare page named interesting facts in this flip book which can be used to write any interesting facts that find as they research or they could research and write about Norfolk Island, Wake Island or the Pitcairn Islands.

The same information is needed as for the countries in the first flip book.

Also included in this pack are some maps of this area and a couple of mapping activities to help children learn more about the area.

There is also a one-page fact sheet about each country, territory and dependency in this pack. Children can use this as well as researching to help them complete the flip books.
