My Handwriting Book ~ Colours

This printable pack comes all in black and white for easy printing. Preparing for use is simple too! Just download, print and put the book together. You can bind, staple or hole punch and place the pages in a binder.

My Handwriting Book ~ Colours

There are two pages for each colour. The first page has the colour word written on it in bold font and then in small and large tracing font. There is a star, showing children where to start writing the letter. There are also numbers and arrows pointing in the direction that the letter needs to be written correctly. This is great for letter and word recognition and helping with spelling.

My Handwriting Book ~ Colours

The second page consists of the colour word written in bold print, then in outline print with starting dots, numbers and arrows. Children can trace these letters, trying to keep inside the lines as they go. Next there is a line of the letters written in dots. As children trace the dots, connecting them together, they will be forming the letters.

My Handwriting Book ~ Colours

Then there is a line for children to write the word on their own.

The last activity is for children to colour in the pictures. This will help them match the word with the colour, as they colour in the pictures in the correct colour.

This pack comes in the following handwriting fonts:

  • Print – Regular (as in picture immediately above)
  • Australia – QLD
  • Australia – NSW & ACT
  • Australia – Tas
  • Australia – Vic, NT & WA
  • Australia – SA
