Condensed Milk Biscuits
These delicious biscuits are another easy to make recipe; one that our kids help make.
First, you need to prepare your baking trays by lining them with baking paper. Then preheat your oven.
After creaming the butter and sugar together, add the egg and beat well.
Add the condensed milk, vanilla, and golden syrup and mix well.
Sift in the flour, bicarb soda, and cream of tartar and add a pinch of salt.
Combine into a dough, kneading lightly.
Form biscuits with a cookie press or roll the dough into balls.
Place onto tray and flatten slightly with a fork.
We rolled the mixture into balls and flatten with a fork, though if you have a cookie press, you could use that.

what is golden syrup?
Golden syrup (also known as light treacle) is a thick amber-coloured inverted sugar syrup comprised of sugar, water and citric acid. Light molasses works as a substitute for golden syrup and sometimes maple syrup, though this is a bit thinner.
