Storing Orange Chicken

This orange chicken is best when served immediately.

The sauce could be made up to 2 days ahead, just mix all the ingredients, cover and place in the fridge until ready to use.

The chicken will lose its crispy coating if cooked ahead of time. Any leftovers will also begin to loose their crispiness as well.

Leftovers can be kept by allowing to cool, then placing in a glass airtight container and placed in the fridge. Reheat until piping hot within 2 days.

The cooked chicken can also be stored in the freezer in a freezer-safe container.

Remove from the freezer and thaw in the fridge overnight. Reheat until piping hot in the microwave or in a covered dish in the oven. It could also be reheated in a wok or frying pan.

Though, the chicken won’t be crispy, it will still be a good meal for those nights when you need something quick and easy.
