Air Fryer Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Wings
I love using our air fryer. It is so easy and the food just tastes so delicious when cooked in it. Enjoy these wings with a tasty salad or rice dish.
For this recipe, you will need chicken wings, and then ingredients to make a sauce.
Once the sauce is made, the chicken wings are marinaded in half of the sauce for at least two hours (can marinade overnight if you wish) before being cooked in the air fryer.
Once marinaded, the chicken wings need to be placed in the air fryer basket with space in-between them to allow the air to circulate. Depending on how big your air fryer basket is, as to how many wings you are able to cook at one time. Do not overload the basket.
The wings will take around 25 – 30 minutes to cook, flipping over half way through.
While the chicken wings are cooking, the other half of the sauce needs to be cooked also. Bring it to a boil and then simmer for about 20 – 30 minutes. Before pouring over the cooked wings and gently tossing to coat.
Serve with sliced spring onion or chopped chives.
Yum!
