The Old Lady series of books are silly, but fun books that are enjoyed by all kids. This one, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Star, is a great book for Christmas.

This massive 99-page printable pack contains a variety of math, literacy and hands-on activities that will extend children’s learning as they read the book – There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Star.

There are number cards which are great for learning to count, which I also laminate for durability everyday use. Kids love the I Spy pages, where they search for a certain picture and then graph the number that they find. There are also activity pages where children can learn about different types of 2D shapes. Also included is a counting flip book to help kids practice counting to ten.

Also included in this book are a variety of literacy activities such as reading skills, comprehension, and sequencing. There are beginning letter sound and syllable cards available which will help kids practice their fine motor skills by placing a peg on the answer, while helping with phonics and syllables. There are also creative writing pages and spot and dot pages which are great for letter recognition.
