Introduce young children to the numbers from one through ten with these fun and versatile Number Mats.
Number Mats 1 – 10
With these mats, children will enjoy learning to recognise, spell and count all the numbers from one through ten. There is one mat for each of the numbers, which come in colour as well as black and white.
There are four activities on each mat that can be used in a variety of ways:
Activity 1
The number that they will be working on is in black and white in the top left hand corner. This number can be traced with a marker or pencil, coloured in with crayons or coloured pencils, or, if the mat is laminated, children can use playdough to create the number. This comes in black and white on both versions.
Activity 2
On the top right hand side of the mat is a tackle box in the shape of a ten frame. This is in colour or black or white depending on the version that you choose to use. Children can use playdough, markers, mini erasers ora dry eraser marker (when the mat is laminated) to show the correct number on the ten frame.
Activity 3
On the bottom left hand side are the correct number of fish. Depending on the version you choose, they will come in black and white or in red. Children can use playdough, markers, mini erasers ora dry eraser marker (when the mat is laminated) to count the fish, crossing them off or covering them when they have counted them.
