Music Notes and Instruments Playdough Mats
These playdough mats are a great way for young children to work on their fine motor skills while learning about music.
In this pack, you will receive two sets of mats:
- Full page mats for 12 different music symbols
- Full page mats for 12 different musical instruments
- They come in both color and black and white
- There are mats for both names of notes eg. crochet and quarter note, treble clef and G clef
Each mat contains an image of the music symbol or instrument which children can use as a template to make their creation using playdough. Children can also use a pen, marker or crayon to trace these images. If these mats are laminated, children can use a dry erase marker to trace the images.
At the bottom of the page are 5 boxes. Once they have made their creation, children can then use balls of playdough, counters, pom poms or mini erasers to cover the two matching symbols to the one they just created.
They could also use a pencil or dry erase marker (in laminated) to cross or circle the two matching symbols.
