I was looking for some Christmas craft ideas for the boys when I came across this poem. I gave this poem and a small bag of M&M’s to some family for Christmas.

Christmas Poem
This is a lovely poem that can be given as a gift or used in conjunction with teaching the true meaning of Christmas. In this pack, you will receive four poems, two per page, in two different colours. These poems are half page in size, though they can be printed smaller, by changing your printer settings.
Print off these poems, laminate and punch a hole in the top left hand corner. Fill a bag or jar with M & M’s and attach this poem with a lovely ribbon and you have a wonderful gift to give this Christmas.
M & M’s Christmas Poem
As you hold these candies in your hand
And turn them, you will see
The ‘M’ becomes a ‘W’,
An ‘E’, and then a ‘3’.
They tell the Christmas Story–
I’m sure it’s one you know.
It took place in a stable
A long, long time ago.
The ‘E’ is for the East,
Where the star shone so bright.
The ‘M’ is for the Manger,
where the Baby Jesus slept at night.
The ‘3’ is for the Wise men,
Bearing gifts, with which they came.
‘W’ is for Worship,
Hallelujah! Praise His Name!
So as you eat these candies
Or share them with a friend,
Remember the meaning of Christmas:
