Homemade Scalp Scrub

This easy to make homemade scalp scrub can help your scalp in so many ways, without the use of any nasty products.

The sugar in this recipe acts as an exfoliant, helping to remove dead skin cells, and any build up of products that have been used. It also helps to remove excess oil that can clog hair follicles.

Rosemary is great for your hair. It is known for stimulating hair follicles and improving circulation as well as encouraging hair growth. I like to create a rosemary scalp scrub by addition 2 TBSP of dried rosemary to this recipe.

Essential Oils

Essential oils are potent, and need to be diluted. As this scrub is being used on your body, you will need to use essential oils that are gentle enough to be applied to your skin – and use in the correct quantities. Be careful to avoid sensitive areas like your eyes when using this scrub.
