These refreshing Fruit Smoothie Popsicles are a wonderful way to enjoy a healthy snack on a hot day. Jam packed with fruit and yoghurt, this delicious and nutritious snack comes together quickly and easily, making a delicious snack or after dinner treat.
Fruit Smoothie Popsicles
Fruit smoothie popsicles are basically, a fruit smoothie that has been frozen in a popsicle mould.
Made with the same ingredients, they are a good source of protein and delicious fruit.

Smoothie Popsicle Variations
Though for this recipe, I have used strawberries and bananas, you could also try:
- Raspberry, peach and strawberry
- Pineapple and strawberry
- Blueberry and mango
- Pineapple, mango and banana
- Pineapple, mango and passionfruit
- Mango and banana
- Berries and Dragonfruit – blueberries, strawberries and blackberries and dragonfruit pieces
- Swap out the honey for your favourite sweetener
- The orange juice can be swapped out for water, coconut water or your favourite milk such as coconut, almond or oat milk.
Popsicle Moulds
If you don’t have a popsicle mould, don’t worry. There are many other items that you can use instead.
- Plastic / paper cups
- Ice cube trays
- Small baking tins
- Muffin pans
- Empty yoghurt containers
Storing Smoothie Popsicles
Popsicles need to be stored in the freezer.
Once frozen, remove from the mould and store in zip lock bags or an airtight container with a layer of baking paper between each popsicle.
Ingredients for Smoothie Popsicles
To make 6 of these smoothie popsicles, you will need:
- 1 cup Strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 Banana, sliced
- 1 Cup Greek Yoghurt
- ½ Cup Orange Juice
- 1 TBSP Honey, optional
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract, optional
Making Fruit Smoothie Popsicles
Add the strawberries, banana, Greek yoghurt, orange juice, honey and vanilla extract to the jug of a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the smoothie mixture into the popsicle moulds, leaving a small amount of space at the top for expansion.
Place the popsicle sticks into the moulds.
Place in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until frozen.
To release the popsicles from the moulds, run a little warm water over the outside of the moulds for a few seconds.
