This creamy and nutritious Raspberry Smoothie is quick and easy to whip up for a delicious breakfast or the perfect pick-me-up anytime during the day. With just four ingredients, this refreshing smoothie is full of fruit, making it a great way to get extra nutrition into your families diet.

Delicious Raspberry Smoothie

Raspberry Smoothie

This deliciously creamy smoothie contains loads of antioxidants and is full of nutrients, making it a great summer drink. Serve with fresh raspberries and mint leaves or as a smoothie bowl, and satisfy those sweet tooth cravings with this quick and easy smoothie drink.

Smoothie Variations

This smoothie tastes amazing just the way it is, though if you have other ingredients on hand, you can add them or change up this recipe to suit your needs.

  • Add a small amount of stevia, honey or other sweetener, if desired
  • For a thicker smoothie, add some ice cubes before processing
  • Swap out the berries for other ones such as blueberries, blackberries or a mixture of berries
  • Not a fan of banana? Try using frozen mango or pineapple instead
  • Try adding a small amount of chia seeds, flaxseeds or hemp seeds for an extra boost
  • If you have a favourite protein powder, add a small scoop to the smoothie
  • Turn your smoothie into a smoothie bowl by using less liquid and/or more frozen fruit to make the smoothie extra thick and creamy
  • Add a handful of greens such as kale, or spinach
  • Try adding a spoonful of almond butter or peanut butter
  • Instead of almond milk, try using your favourite milk, coconut milk or water
  • Try using 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of plain Greek yoghurt for a creamier smoothie
  • For a chocolate taste, add a small scoop of cocoa powder and top with cacao nibs

Smoothie without Seeds

To enjoy a raspberry smoothie without seeds, process the milk with the raspberries and strawberries. Then push this mixture through a fine mesh sieve. What you will get will look more like a juice. Add this back to the blender and add the rest of the ingredients and process. Compost or give the seeds to the chickens.

Storing Smoothies

Smoothies are made to be enjoyed immediately. 

If you can’t enjoy immediately, the smoothie mixture can be refrigerated for a few hours, though it may separate. Just shake or mix before enjoying.

Smoothie mixture can also be frozen for up to three months.

To make this smoothie, you will need:

  • Almond milk
  • Frozen, sliced banana
  • Frozen strawberries
  • Frozen raspberries

Making this Smoothie

This recipe makes two smoothies, so adjust as needed.

  • 2 Cups Almond Milk, or your choice of milk
