Children will love learning to recognise the nine of the most popular colours with these fun Doggy Colours Puzzles. These printable puzzles are easy to make, and are great for young children in developing colour recognition, matching and fine motor skills.
Doggy Colours Puzzles
These doggy themed colour puzzles are a great way for children to learn to recognise colours and colour words. There is one puzzle for nine different colours – black, blue, red, white, yellow, orange, purple, green and pink.
To Prepare:
Once you have downloaded the printable, print out the puzzles. There are two puzzles per letter sheet that will then need to be cut out. I recommend laminating for durability.
To Use:
To create each of the nine colour puzzles, children will need to match the colour word with the doggy holding that colour crayon and the crayon on its own. You could make these puzzle self checking by writing the same number on the back of each puzzle in one of the corners before laminating.
