The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout
As you say this first line, touch the thumb of one hand to the index finger of the other hand. After this, touch the index finger to the thumb of the other hand, repeating these while lifting your hands up.
Down came the rain
While wiggling your fingers to simulate rain, bring your hands down.
and washed the spider out
While pointing your palms down, sweep your hands away from each other.
Up came the sun and dried up all the rain
Form a circle with your hands for the sun and rise your hands to show the sun is rising.
and the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.
Repeat the same thumb, index finger movement as in the first step.
