Chinese New Year Playdough Mats

A fun way to learn about Chinese New Year is with these fun Chinese New Playdough Mats. Chinese New Year Playdough Mats Activity

Enhance your child’s motor and sensory skills along with their concentration skill with these wonderful Chinese New Year themed printables.

This activity can instil a love of science and learning about China and Chinese New Year while engaging your child in a fun hands-on activity. In creating the Chinese New Year items and animals, and more while practicing to write the name of the object in the lines, they will be working on their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

This play dough mat pack contains 20 full page playdough worksheets. Children can follow the colours on the mats or create the Chinese New Year objects out of colours that they choose. They are able to write the name of the item before or after creating the picture from playdough.

These worksheets can be laminated before using as then they can easily be wiped clean. Children will then use a dry-erase marker to write the name.
