Preposition Clip Cards

Children will enjoy learning or reviewing prepositions with the activities in this fun and free preposition cards. They are such a fun way for kids to learn different aspects of grammar.

Included in this pack are both black and white and colour versions of all the clip cards.

To prepare these clip cards, print them out on white paper or cardstock and cut them out. There are six cards per letter sized page. With eleven pages of cards, that means a total of 66 cards, though some of the prepositions are repeated.

These cards can be laminated for durability.

Using Clip Cards

Clip cards which children will look at the picture and clip the correct answer with a peg or a paperclip. They could also place a pom pom, mini eraser or a counter on top of the correct preposition.

For the last activity in the pack, children will read the directions and colour in the chick that is in the correct position.

The prepositions that are learnt in this clip card pack include:

above, across, against, behind, below, between, in, off, on, out, over, through, toward, under, around, next to, on top, in front, among, at, beside, beyond, by, inside, near, outside, with, after, along, before, down, into, onto, towards, up, during, for, from, since, and until.
