Autumn Glitter Slime
To make this gorgeous slime, you will need:
- 1 x 6oz bottle Elmer’s Clear Glue
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm water, as needed
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup Liquid Starch, as needed
- Red, orange and brown food colouring
- Red, orange and brown very fine glitter
This slime is so easy to make, first pour the clear glue into a medium-sized bowl. Using a fork, gently stir in 1/4 cup warm water.
Slowly add 1/4 cup Liquid Starch and stir well for 2 minutes. Test the slime to see how it is going. If it is too stiff, add more water, if too sticky, add more Liquid Starch.
Continue stirring until the slime forms into a ball. Knead for 2 minutes, adding more water or liquid starch, as needed.
Once the slime is stretchy and no longer sticky, it’s time to divide it into 3 balls. Though, if you only want to make one or two colours, you will only need the numbers of balls you want.
Using a small amount of dye, carefully dye each ball orange, red or brown.
Gently mix through the corresponding glitter.
Lay the slime colours out in strips to play.
Children will enjoy stretching and twisting this sparkling slime.
Slime is best stored in an airtight container in the fridge when not in use.
