The book we chose for the Poppins Book Nook ‘The Great Outdoors’ Theme was

Camping ABC: A Place for Outdoor Fun

 Camp Book for Poppins 1

We love camping and have camped at many different spots such as Landcruiser Mountain Park, Janowen Hills, Dubbo, Levuka   . The boys have really enjoyed these activities and are looking forward to our next camping adventure.

These campfire cupcakes are so fun to make!! A wonderful addition to a camping unit or great to take on a camping trip with you.

We made these awesome campfire cupcakes.

I love these handprint campfires that the boys made using their handprints.

Camping Diorama

And we also made this awesome Camping Diorama out of a long, narrow shoe box.

Those campfire cupcakes caught my eye when you first posted them. And I pinned them right away! Love the whole series – particularly the campaign journal. What a fun idea for older ones!

We just pitched our tent in the backyard this afternoon. I consider it perfect timing that I visited you today. The cupcakes? Fantastic! The hand print art? Too cute! I have to try it with the kids this week!

Thank you for helping to bring a spoonful of reading fun to the Poppins Book Nook this month!
