Over the last few weeks, we have been reading and learning about pirates – check out our pirate unit! As part of this, I created these four fun printables to go alongside our learning.
The first one is Pirate Matching Cards which you can download for free by clicking this link:
*** Pirate Matching Cards ***
This pack includes matching cards as well as size sequencing cards. The matching cards can be used in matching and memory games while the size sequencing cards can be used for learning sizing / ordering from smallest to largest and largest to smallest.
The second one is a Famous Pirates Booklet which is great to use when researching Pirates.
You can download your free copy by clicking the link:
*** Famous Pirates ***
The boys have been drawing pictures of the pirates and the ships they were on in the blank space and writing a bit about the person on the lines. I have included a few famous pirates as well as a blank page for children to write about famous pirates they know and love or to create their own pirate.
The third one is a Pirate Vocabulary Book. In this book, you write your Pirate word on the top line, look up the meaning and write it on the bottom lines and draw a picture of your word in the middle. You can download your free copy by clicking the link:
*** Pirate Vocabulary Book ***
This is a great printable book for learning new words and their meanings! I have listed a few words, and included a blank page for your children to find their own words or create their own pirate words.
The fourth and final freebie are Pirate Information Cards. These cards are great for learning about the life of pirates; how they lived, what they ate and what they did! You can download your free copy by clicking the link:
