Day 112
After so many long driving days, we headed into Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park to rest and do some washing.
But first, we had to go through quarrantine. We had been told that the quarantine was on the WA SA border, so had used/thrown out all our fresh fruit and vegetables a few days before. The guy at the quarantine did a quick check of the fridge and a few cupboards and then let us go.
Heading into the SA quarantine area.
Ceduna Foreshore Caravan Park
It was R’s birthday and he wanted to play the playstation, so a powered site for the night was a good. We arrived at the caravan park just after 10am and were able to get straight onto our site. We were on site 11, one of their waterfront sites.
After setting up and doing some washing while the boys played on the playstation, we headed off to Hungry Jacks for a birthday lunch.
Then we went back to the caravan park. Not far from our van was the gate to the jetty. We took a walk down the jetty and then the boys had a play on the playground before heading back to the van for some more playstation.
Finally a jetty we didn’t have to pay to walk down!
The caravan park (and our van) is just behind those trees.
Lots of little fish swimming around in the water near the jetty.
It was only a little playground but the boys had fun and worked up an appetite for some cookies and cream birthday cake!
And chocolate!
R had a great day for his birthday in SA just as he wanted. Now, we have two birthdays down in two different states: WA and SA. Wonder where the next birthday will be?
