-
scissors
-
eraser
- ziplock bags to store cards
Print out pages and cut them in half.
Staple the top left hand corner together.
To be able to re-use, laminate the cut pages and using a hole punch, punch a hole into the top left hand corner, then using a ring, join them together. Using a dry erase marker, complete the activities.
There are many ways you could use these, some of them are:
The Number Pages
There are two lots of number pages with different borders. You could print, cut out and laminate the numbers then place them in a zip lock bag. One person picks a card out of the bag and says, “I’m thinking of a number between …….. and they choose one number below and one number above the number they had picked out of the ziplockbag.
You could also print, cut out and laminate and add velcrodots onto the back of the numbers. I have also included a number board which you could also add the (opposite) velcrodots onto and the child can place the numbers in order. You can give them a different number to start from and they have to stick on the next number, count in 2’s or 5’s.
Another way is to print, cut, laminate two copies of each page and add velcrodots onto the back of the numbers. Use the number board to match the numbers eg. 1 and 1, 2 and 2. This would be great for the really small children to help them learn there numbers.
The Theme Pages
You can do the same first activity as with the number pages. Instead of “I’m thinking of a number between….” it would be “I’m thinking of a sea creature or circus prop or a farm animal.”
You could also use the theme cards and put them in alphabetical order or biggest to smallest in size, or heaviest to lightest (or vice versa).
You could also use them as matching cards (3rd way above).
Travel Scavenger Hunt
To play this game, print out the Travel Scavenger Hunt / Bingo Card (you can use the Master ones it you want) and get the children to cross out the picture of the object when they see them pass by. You can laminate or put in a plastic sleeve and use a dry erase marker to cross out the objects. This will allow you to reuse the sheets.
Travel Bingo
To play this game, print out all pages and laminate the Travel Scavenger Hunt / Bingo Card pages. Cut out the boxes on the Travel Scavenger Hunt / Master Bingo Card pages and laminate. Places the Master cards into a zip lock bag. One person picks the card out of the bag and the others use a dry erase marker to cross off the picture. The first one to get a row, or a column or the whole page crossed off wins.
