Recently we visited The Golf Spot, Queensland’s First Indoor Golf Centre. Located in Salisbury, Brisbane, our boys really enjoyed the variety of activities as well as being able to ‘play’ over 100 of golf courses from around the world.

On arriving, we were shown how to operate the system. R and hubby were set up to play the St. Andrews course in one of the booths.

The realistic graphics made it feel like you were really on the course while the feedback are every shot was very informative.

It is dark in the booth, which enables the player to focus on the big screen in front of them when they take their shot.

The ball needs to be placed near special sensors to enable it to pick up all your information.

While R and hubby were having fun playing St. Andrews, B and I checked out the rest of the place.

There is a great area located near the door that can be used to practice putting. This area is also used for kids parties. B had great fun putting with a soft rubber ball and trying to hit the target.

There are also a variety of mini golf games available in the booths. B had a go bricks mini putt putt and loved it.

At the Golf Spot, you don’t need to worry about the weather, you can practice and get results on how you are going and play many courses from all over the world. This was such a fun experience and we are looking forward to returning again soon.

The Golf Spot is open from 12pm to 10pm weekdays, 10am to 10p on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

The cost is $25 for half an hour and $45 for an hour for 1-6 players, so bring your friends and save!
