Honey Joys Recipe

These honey joys are a quick and easy recipe that kids will love helping to make and eat!

Our oldest wanted to try and bake an easy snake recipe, so we spent some time talking about what he wanted to make. We had a lot of cornflakes in the pantry that I thought would be great to use up, so we decided to make this easy Honey Joys recipe.

These honey joys are a quick and easy recipe that kids will love helping to make and eat!

To make these Honey Joys, our oldest got all the four ingredients as well as the bowl, saucepan and baking tray ready.

Then R measured out the butter, sugar and honey, adding them to the saucepan.

After dissolving the sugar and bringing to the boil, this was then added and mixed with the cornflakes.

After mixing well, tablespoons of the mixture were added to the cupcake cases and then baked for about 10 minutes at 160˚C in a fan-forced oven.

After they cooled, the boys had a taste and loved them!!
