An ingrown hair is one that, instead of taking the normal route of growing up out of your skin, a pesky little hair decides to curl inwards. This leads to a little lump that can quickly get infected and full of pus. While a meticulous skincare routine that includes a lot of exfoliating, ingrown hairs are almost inevitable.
