Community Workers Reader

Check out the list of materials that we use with these printables.

Community Workers Reader

In this reader, children will read about forty-nine different occupations. They will be practicing the phrase “I am..’ which is followed by an occupation which they will trace. The name of the occupation is written in box form to help children work on letter height as well as letter formation. These printable books are perfect for teaching young children reading. They will love reading about all the different occupations they hear about from family and friends while reading these books.

To Prepare

To prepare, just download the file, print the books, cut out on the solid black lines and staple together on the left hand side. You could also laminate the pages, punch a hole in the top left hand side and hold them pages together with a binder ring. This is a more durable way to keep the books, which is especially great for using for great lengths of time. By laminating, this also makes it easy to keep the books clean, just wipe with a slightly damp cloth.

There are two versions:

  • coloured version
  • black and white
