Cardboard Tube Rocket

What you need:

a cardboard tube (like from a paper towel or cling wrap)

paint

coloured paper

scissors

tape

black marker

To make the rocket:

Paint the cardboard tube the colour of your choice.

Let the paint dry before continuing.

Cut out fin shapes from a piece of coloured paper and glue or tape them to the sides of the rocket.

Cut a circle shape, that is slightly bigger than the tube, out of another piece of coloured paper and make a slit in it from one edge to the centre. Fold the circle to make a cone and tape in together.

Glue or tape the cone onto the top of the cardboard tube.

Cut out strips of orange, yellow and red paper and glue into the bottom of the cardboard tube. These are the flames!

Using a black marker decorate your rocket.
