A fun way to learn the letters of the alphabet are with these Alphabet Playdough Mats. Children will also be having fun while working on their fine motor skills as they mould the playdough into the correct letter shapes.

This printable pack contains 2 sets of Alphabet Letter Playdough Mats.
Set 1
The first set of mats contains one mat each of the uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet. There are two mats per page which can be printed, cut out and laminated for durability. Each mat contains four pictures that begin with the sound on the top which children can repeat while they are moulding the playdough to create the letter. One the bottom of the card children can practice tracing and writing the letter with a crayon or marker. If these mats have been laminated, children can use a dry erase marker to write the letters.
Set 2
The second set of mats contains the uppercase and lowercase of the letter which children can mould out of playdough. Along the top of the mat are all the letters of the alphabet. The letter of the mat is highlighted the same colour as the letters. The uppercase letters are written along the bottom of the mat. On the right side of the mat are three pictures that all begin with the letter of the mat. Children can learn to read these words while playing with playdough. They could also practice writing these words on a separate piece of paper.
