Day 75
Today we drove to the De Grey River Rest Area. Everyone we had spoken to said that this was a great free camp. We arrived around lunch to find lots of vans/motorhomes etc. already set up down by the river. There was no room for us, so we had to camp up the top.
We did go for a walk in the afternoon and found the road to be very bumpy, lots of pot holes and there were prickles everywhere, so we were quite glad we stopped up the top.
This free camp had 2 dump points and 2 toilets. There were some bins and one big skip bin as well. There is also free wi-fi under the shelter.
We found cow tracks and droppings next to our van and car the next morning, so obviously we had some visitors during the night as well.
