Day 76
Today we woke up early and drove the 80+kms to Port Hedland. We arrived at the Free Camp at the Racecourse around 8.30am, just in time for Hubby and R to watch the Manchester United match.
We spent the day resting in the van as hubby was still not feeling great, probably due to not eating properly the last couple of days. I was also able to do some hand washing as we are not sure when we will be able to get to a washing machine again.
After speaking to others in this free camp, apparently it is being closed down as of the 31st July 2015 which is a shame as there were 40+ vans there the night we stayed.
Driving in and out of Port Hedland, we drove past Dampier Salt Limited.
We saw this statue thing as we drove out of Port Hedland. Not sure what it is. If you know, help us out please.
